Jared Sampson, aka J-Red, is the owner of SuperStar Events and Promotions, bringing over 20 years of expertise in event planning, marketing, promotions, and staffing. His career includes roles as Promotions Manager at Radio Disney, Event Marketing and Sales Manager at Feld Entertainment, Director of Game Day Entertainment & Special Events for the New Orleans Saints, and Director of Pride Events/Senior Producer at JJLA. J-Red has also shined in the spotlight as an in-arena/stadium host for Monster Jam and the New Orleans Pelicans and as a cast member on Bravo's Southern Charm New Orleans.
J-Red’s exceptional contributions to the industry have earned him significant recognition. He was named one of Gambit Magazine's 40 Under 40 in 2018 and has received accolades such as the Human Rights Campaign Equality Award and the Dryades YMCA Black Achiever in Business and Industry Award. He has also been featured in industry publications/platforms for his impactful work in events.
With a proven track record of orchestrating high-impact events, including music festivals, conferences, and large-scale activations, J-Red leverages his deep expertise in promotions and staffing along with his background in Communication and Marketing to seamlessly blend creativity and strategy. He has successfully planned, marketed, and hosted hundreds of events in Greater New Orleans and beyond, ensuring unforgettable, flawlessly executed experiences.
In addition to leading SuperStar Events & Promotions, J-Red serves as Vice President of Experiential and Account Services for a respected marketing agency and educates and inspires others as a Marketing instructor at Southern New Hampshire University and as a Keynote Speaker with Campuspeak and Evergreen.
